Healthy Eating
I began by saying what are you eating! Healthy eating is very beneficial for our skin. It helps improve and maintain our skin. Many wonder how can they have better looking skin without having to do major changes that might be costly to achieve healthy skin. Well it’s very simple and cost nothing if you change eating and drinking habitats.
For starters eating fruits and vegetables is a great start. As you shop for groceries try buying fresh vegetables and fruit and cut back on you buying fatty foods. The only fatty foods you want to eat are foods with omega-3 fat in them as they are healthy and helps prevent inflammation to the skin, fights wrinkles and keeps skin hydrated. Some examples if you’re not sure Salmon, tuna, seeds & nuts, certain brand of eggs, yogurt, and milk which you probably are already buying.
As for beverages try to really limit your intake on caffeine and drinks that’s high in acid and sugar. Try drinking more water with lemons as this helps to clear the skin. It helps build collagen to reduce wrinkles and helps fight off toxins that cause breakouts. Drinking raw juices helps with fighting off toxins that will help with acne and anti-aging as well.
